You know chances are taking stuff from that yard might not be so easy or legal. Maybe there's someone there who can accept money for it but being there was a lot of old military aircraft, potentially for use in movies and TV, someone might want to hold onto that stuff. Doubt it still belongs to the military but if there's someone who's more attached to their stuff than the AF it's major studios that have to spend a lot of money on large props.

I'm just saying.

there's also the whole needed a crane, a flatbed truck..and until you find a scifi museum to take it to, where are you going to store it?

Oh, I have no intention of taking it... at the very least, that would be a felony (burglary)... and then the whole "how would I take it" and "where would I put it"... some of those fans aren't thinking clearly when they act like they will just pull up and drive off with it...

Maybe they would be able to buy it, but who knows...

I see that you will be at the San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, so presumably you already know that Joss Whedon and several cast will be at the Con on Saturday. I'm sure they would love to hear about your discovery! There will also be San Francisco browncoats manning a Firefly/Serenity table at the Con; I'm sure people milling around that table would love to take the trip out to see the med ship!
